Citizenship
Ammendment Bill:
Dawning of Darkness on the
Republic
The
passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019 in both the houses of
parliament has marked the dawning of darkness on the republic. This ominous
bill has curtailed the fundamental right of citizenship and has parochially
redefined the right of application for citizenship on the basis of religious
beliefs. It is an enigmatic negative tide, that attacks constitution in the
vilest way, that has the false surf of parliamentary legislation to cap it.
This negative tide now drags the nation and the people down into the dark
dungeons of colonial wickedness of divide and rule. The nightmare of communal division and ethnic
massacres always stay awake there to take on us.
This evil
earnestness of the Sangh legions that have taken the reins of our country plays
this game of death with an ulterior design.
Its goal is to distract the popular attention, of proletariat, the
peasantry and all the toiling sections of the people, from the burning economic
crisis, the treacherous sell out of national assets such as BPCL and the
Railway, degradation of labour laws and further implementation of pro-corporate
anti worker policies. This villainous move to divide the nation and its people
is purported to eclipse the factuals of
the industrial slump and agrarian disaster and to retard the surging struggles
against it. This happens in the face of determining action of national strike
by Indian proletariat, actively supported by the peasantry this time, that is
going to be manifest on 8th of January 2020.
The
secular democratic and truely patriotic forces should rise and come forth from
all walks of life to clasp hands with
the proletariat, the peasantry and the toiling people in order to throw away
this smothering dragnet of the project of Hindurashtra thrown upon the nation by MODI government. Such resolute and united
movement is sure to win in pealing of this darkness that has dawned today on
our beloved country.
