On 31st March workers of (mainly) unorganized sectors stormed the office of Konkan divisional Commissioner protesting against the proposed reduction of aid in the budget by Maharashtra government. A memorandum was given to commissioner of ‘ICDS’. The rally was jointly organized by ‘Maharashtra Ekta Union’ and ‘Maharashtra Kamgar Union’ (affiliated to ‘TUCI’).
