The
union Budget 20l6-17 is clearly a betrayal of the people of India and
is sure to decelerate the Agrarian and Industrial sectors of the
nation causing grave economic distress. The modi Government has
proven that it will follow the economic policy of imperialist
globalization.
The
very preamble itself mocks the logic of stimulus that is much needed
in a slowing down global economic scenario by sticking to the fiscal
discipline mantra; especially when this degenerative policy has
pauperized a number of nations in Europe and other continents. It again stands to be foolish to follow this line as the prediction has
come up that the developing economies are to bare the most bitter
part of the already on economic slowdown.
Its
proposals for doubling farmers' income are not only unrealistic but
also part of disguised attempt to transform the sector into corporate
run business. The real intention comes to light by the proposal to
open up the sector for 100% FDl in food processing.
The
budget has also put up its taxation policy that is to spread the
indirect tax net wider.It has struck the employees by making the EPF withdrawals taxable.It
has asked the states to spend more and at the same time it has
declared its anticipation that GST (that shall deprive the states of
their tax revenue) will go passed in the floors of parliament.
